When EggCap came to us in 2018 they already had a great looking brand. But something was missing - a real identity.

An established independent finance and investment company, Eggcap provides companies and individuals with accessible funding to grow their companies. The problem was, their brand didn’t reflect that. Beautiful lifestyle shots of yachts were appealing, but they weren’t selling the idea that Eggcap could help you add real value to your business.

The trouble is, exactly how do you do that - what does a valuable business look like, without resorting to showing someone else’s business? The answer was to not do that at all, but instead focus on the Eggcap brand and make it stand out in a highly competitive marketplace.

The identity we created centred on the egg shape - a simple but elegant solution, infinitely expandable for a variety of uses. Sometimes a whole ovaloid is used, sometimes on a section -  a curved line.

Five egg shapes were chosen to represent the diversity of the projects the consultants worked on. A distinctive but far from shouty colour palette reflected the seriousness of the subject - corporate financing and advice.

Finally, the logotype represents a mix of traditional values with a modern outlook, forming an impression of a straight talking approach to business: an exact representation of the Eggcap company itself. Eggcap now has the brand that truly reflects what it is.
